Lee Wilson, head of search engine optimisation at Vertical Leap, will soon be publishing his very first book, which will provide businesses with the tools and tips they need to improve their digital marketing efforts.

Out on August 3, Tactical SEO focuses on the ‘why behind the what’ so that businesses can base key decisions on actual insight, rather than just following the latest trends. Lee, who has worked at Vertical Leap for more than five years, is keen to pass down his knowledge of the industry to businesses that want a deeper understanding of how it all works.

Lee said: “I wanted to empower businesses to consider genuine value in their approach to search engine marketing and provide them with the fundamentals of Google and SEO which are critical to digital success over the long term.”

After more than a year of writing and preparation, Lee is finally able to put down the pen, as his book is now ready for pre-order. However, this is unlikely to be his last book, as he has plans to write more in the future.

“I’m going to see how this one goes first,” he commented. “I’ve got a few ideas for the next book but nothing concrete yet.”
